This Small Mobile Home Has An Integrated Greenhouse And All The Comforts Of A Large Apartment

When we think of a small house, we immediately think of the space that we will have to sacrifice if there are not enough rooms, for example, we may have to give up some of our pass- time or the idea of having an office just for us. It seems that living in a small house means reconsidering a whole host of priorities. However, the American company  Olive Nest Tiny Homes has amply demonstrated that it is not necessary to give up comfort when living in a small environment: “Elsa” is a small mobile home, equipped with a greenhouse and ‘a veranda.

The main area of the whole house is around 30 square meters but is always light and “airy”. With the clever use of light wood and white for the walls, this tiny loft-style home creates the illusion of being twice the size of what it actually is. In the kitchen, there is a full-size refrigerator and gas hob, as well as several shelves above the large sink. The furniture is cleverly concealed and, to save even more space, a movable axis with three stools has been installed, to be used when needed.

What characterizes “Elsa” the most, and which sets her apart from most small houses, is the greenhouse. Large enough to grow seasonal fruits and vegetables, the greenhouse makes this small structure even more eco-sustainable than it already was.
