Doctor reveals way to ‘instantly relieve headaches’ as people can’t believe it ‘actually worked’
People say the TikTok doctor’s advice ‘saved’ them
You’re sitting at your laptop, just like you do every day, checking your emails when, out of nowhere, a headache hits you hard.
Or perhaps you’re hanging out with your friends when suddenly it feels like someone just hit you on the head with a frying pan.
Ugh, those annoying surprise headaches are the worst! All you really want to do is lie down in a dark room and feel sorry for yourself.
A doctor has shared a surprising method to quickly ease headaches, and many people are amazed that it really does work instead of just hiding away from the pain.
Dr. Michel Rowe is a chiropractor who specializes in helping people stay healthy and recover from injuries.

On TikTok, he posts a variety of self-help activities, including quick ways to relieve pain and different stretches to help your body feel better.
Now, while it might not necessarily cure you of having banging headaches, the doctor explained that there is a way to get ‘instant relief’ by targeting three key areas ‘that tend to build tension’.
To start, he suggests putting two fingers on either side of your head, near your temples, and giving a gentle circular massage. “Keep doing this for about five to ten seconds,” he tells you.
Next, you will slide down and repeat the same action near the jaw joint, close to the ear’s corner. While doing this, gently open and close your mouth.
Alright, get ready guys! The American says that from this point on, you’re going to step it up a notch!

The chiropractor suggests that you shape your fingers like rakes and gently rake the sides of your head, repeating this about five to ten times.
After finishing those three steps, Dr. Rowe mentions, “You might find that one specific area gives you the most comfort.”
“At that point, throw more repetitions in and this is a great exercise that you can use throughout the day.”
Users were amazed by this advice as one commented: “Yo why did this actually work?”
One person exclaimed, “Wow, you really helped me!” Others mentioned that it was effective but they still felt some pain, with many nodding in agreement, saying, “It kind of worked a bit.”

While some said it only ‘helped a bit’, it certainly seems worth a go to attack those surprise headaches.
Even though many headaches usually disappear on their own, the NHS suggests that you should visit a doctor if: they keep returning, pain relievers aren’t helping and your headache is getting worse, you experience a strong pounding pain in the front or side of your head, you feel nauseous, throw up, and find bright lights or loud sounds uncomfortable, or if you often have headaches around the time of your period.
