Zac Efron hospitalized following pool accident in Ibiza

Zac Efron was reportedly pulled out of the pool by two members of staff at the villa
The famous actor has been journeying through various European regions in the past few weeks and just participated in ‘Prelude To The Olympics’ at Fondation Louis Vuitton on July 25 in Paris, France.
Efron was recently seen enjoying himself in Ibiza and even made a surprise appearance on stage with his friend Martin Garrix during his DJ set at Ushuaïa, reminiscent of his 2015 movie We Are Your Friends.

The 36-year-old is thought to be residing in a villa on the island, where he allegedly experienced an incident in the pool.
Reports indicate that Efron experienced distress while in the water for reasons unknown, requiring assistance from two villa staff members to exit the water.
Yesterday (August 3), he was brought to the hospital as a precaution.
A spokesperson for the actor verified that Efron was part of a ‘small swimming mishap’ at the villa to TMZ.

Efron has experience with hospital stays due to accidents, having come close to death in a 2013 incident that resulted in a broken jaw.
Efron is thought to have been sprinting around his house in socks when he fell and injured his face on a granite fountain.
Consequently, he required surgery and had his jaw wired shut for a while. The actor also needed to go through physical therapy afterward.
Efron attributes the change in the shape of his face over the years to the accident, explaining that various muscles had to adapt and work harder due to his near-fatal injury.
As of 2022, he was still receiving physical therapy in an effort to address this issue.

During the filming of the second season of Down to Earth with Zac Efron in Australia, Efron mentioned to Men’s Health that he had to pause therapy for a while. He said, “The masseters just grew. They just got really, really big.”
The masseter muscles are a set of muscles in the jaw that play a role in chewing and can be found on both sides of your face.
Here’s hoping Efron’s most recent accident is no where near as serious.
