Choosing where to live is one of the most important stages in a person’s life: buying a house, or renting one, is for many a dream come true. Economic conditions and future expectations have a great influence on the choice of property. If you don’t have a big budget and want to be able to move frequently, Latvian start-up Brette Haus has found the solution. It was a smart project that saw immediate success: a foldable house, or rather, a house that can be opened.

The house is made of layers of laminated wood mounted on a metal rotating mechanism, which makes it very easy to assemble and disassemble. In fact, the Latvian start-up only takes 3 hours to set up. This house does not need a foundation, but a level ground for its installation.

Thanks to this design, the buyer only has to have the place where he will install the house and, from the moment of purchase, he only has to wait 8 days for delivery. and 3 hours for assembly carried out by a team of professionals. More than a “buildable and removable” house, it is a house that works by opening and closing.

The material used for construction is recycled and its carbon dioxide emission is neutral. In addition, the installation has no impact on the environment, which makes the house very durable. The Brette Haus is available in three models: rustic, urban and compact. In addition, each of these models is available in two versions, in different sizes: from 18 to 48 m².
