Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes Step Out for Rare Public Appearance at the Olympics: Photos
The real-life Barbie and Ken were seen in the stands cheering on Team USA in Paris.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes decided to attend the 2024 Paris Olympics for a romantic outing. The couple, who rarely make public appearances together, were seen in the stands at Bercy Arena in Paris on Sunday, August 4, and they made sure to dress in Olympic gear to show their support for Team USA.
Ryan, 43, donned a green baseball cap featuring the Olympic rings for the occasion. He paired it with sunglasses and a red flannel shirt over a white t-shirt while observing the women’s gymnastics uneven bars final. Eva, 50, the actress, also sported sunglasses and a simple black shirt.
The couple maintained a low-profile at the event, but it was evident that they had their two daughters, Esmeralda and Amada, with them.

Ryan and Eva, who initially crossed paths on the set of their 2012 movie, were spotted at the solo Grand Prix freestyle at the Chateau de Versailles recently. During the event, Ryan was seen in a white Olympic-themed cap while Eva opted for a floppy sun hat.
The Gosling-Mendes family outing is the first time they’ve been spotted together in public in years. Despite this, they have always been each other’s biggest supporters, as evident from their red carpet appearances, interviews, and social media posts. Eva frequently expresses her admiration for her partner on Instagram. Recently, she praised Ryan for his roles in The Fall Guy and Barbie. When he received a Best Actor nomination at the 2024 Academy Awards for his portrayal of Ken, Eva proudly commended him and stood up for Ryan against his critics.

“So much hate when he took on this role. So many people trying to shame him for doing it,” Eva captioned a previous Instagram post. “Despite all the #Notmyken ridicule and articles written about him, he created this completely original, hilarious, heartbreaking, now iconic character and took it all the way to Oscars.”
During an interview with Extra at the Los Angeles premiere of The Fall Guy in May, Ryan shared that Eva had become his top acting coach.
“She’s also like my acting coach,” the Notebook star gushed. “She has really become the best acting coach I have ever had, it’s endless how she helps me.”
