Keith Urban returns home for prostate cancer

Keith Urban, who was born in Australia, is loved by many fans. The way he met his wife Nicole Kidman sounds just like a fairy tale!

Kidman admitted in a 2007 interview with Vanity Fair that she was actually engaged to someone else when she met Urban in 2005 at a special event for Australians in LA. Surprisingly, only three months later, they were engaged to each other.

The actress said that there was a big attraction at first, and they got engaged after three months. Then they got married fast, but they didn’t really know each other. They only got to know each other after they were married.

I believe that age can impact how we connect with others. When I first met him, I just knew deep down that we had a special connection. It was like finding a piece of home. He felt the same way too. That feeling was all we needed to build our relationship on.

The couple are parents to two beautiful daughters.

Urban’s father, Robert, played a very important part in shaping Urban into who he is today. Unfortunately, Robert passed away after fighting prostate cancer.

Urban showed up at the It’s A Bloke Thing luncheon in Toowoomba in 2018 to honor his dad and help spread the word about a serious issue. But when the paparazzi caught him at the Sydney airport and the photos got out, his fans started to worry that he might be dealing with the illness.

He, however, was there to perform at the Prostate Cancer Awareness/Fundraiser.

Unfortunately, some of his relatives, like his uncles from the city, had prostate cancer. That’s why he cares so much about spreading awareness about prostate cancer.

Urban volunteered to play for free, which helped the lunchtime fundraiser reach an amazing total of $2,024,000.

This proves that Keith Urban is not only a super talented musician and a great husband and dad, but he also has a really kind heart.
