The first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again has revealed Jon Bernthal is back as The Punisher!

People who saw the trailer said it was really violent, and the show is a new version of Netflix’s R-rated series.
It hasn’t been officially confirmed as R-Rated yet, but the trailer suggests that it might be.
Charlie Cox is back as Daredevil, and he’s not alone! He’s joining Bernthal, who is also returning. We’ve seen Cox in the MCU before in Spider-Man: No Way Home and the Disney+ series Echo and She-Hulk. Plus, Vincent D’Onofrio is coming back too as Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin.
D’Onofrio first appeared in the MCU in the series Hawkeye and also had a big part in Echo. The trailer suggested that even though Daredevil and Fisk are usually enemies, they might join forces in the show to tackle a bigger danger together.

While most people are really looking forward to seeing Cox and D’Onofrio back, a lot of fans are even more thrilled about Jon Bernthal coming back as Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher.
Bernthal made his debut as the character in the first half of Daredevil season 2, and he was super interesting right from the start.
Because of the positive response, Bernthal came back to portray the character in his own series. This show aired for two seasons on Netflix.
Bernthal said it was ‘an honour’ to return as the character.
In an earlier interview with Collider before he came back, Bernthal mentioned, “There’s a reason why that character has connected so deeply with so many people. Fans of comic books, first responders, military personnel, and folks from all around the world really feel it.”
I believe that everyone has a bit of Frank Castle inside them. He really resonates with me, and I feel a strong connection to that character. It’s super important to me that if we bring him to life, we do it the right way and stay true to the original story and what Frank is all about.
“I’m gonna do my absolute best to make sure that, if and when we do it, we do it right”
Besides Bernthal coming back as The Punisher, the trailer has shown us a bunch of new characters for the series.
In the first season, Kamala Khan’s dad, Yusuf, played by Mohan Kapur, will be part of the cast. Plus, we’ll see comic characters like White Tiger and the bad guy ‘Muse’ making an appearance!
Kevin Feige announced that Daredevil: Born Again will have more than just one season. In fact, a second season is already in the works, and they are getting ready to start filming soon.
