John Travolta’s house is uniquely equipped with a functional airport featuring two runways for his private planes.

John Travolta, a licensed private pilot, possesses five aircraft, making it appropriate that his residence in Florida features two runways that extend directly to his front entrance.

“We constructed the residence with the intention of accommodating jets, allowing us immediate access to the world, and we achieved that goal,” stated a bearded Travolta during an interview on Australia’s “Today” program on Thursday. “For the past eleven years, we have had the opportunity to travel extensively with Qantas and for film projects… I have been able to conduct both business and personal activities from this home.”

John Travolta has served as a Qantas ambassador-at-large since 2002 and houses his personal Qantas Boeing 707 in the vicinity of his Florida residence, conveniently located just a short 10-minute flight away from Orlando.

Kelly Preston describes her aviation enthusiast husband, John Travolta, as always dreaming of having planes in his front yard, allowing for easy access to travel whenever they wanted to go out for dinner.

The spacious great room features curved window walls that overlook the tarmac. John Travolta, a seasoned pilot and owner of two jets, recalls their initial dinner guest, Michael Eisner. Eisner was amazed by their planes and exclaimed, “My God, I get it. Within an hour, we can be on our way to Paris.” Adorning the mantelpiece is a 1967 artwork by Alexander Calder.

The Entrance Hall

John Travolta describes the house as being overbuilt, with walls thicker than necessary and an excess of metal. The entrance hall features a floor pattern personally designed by Travolta.

He said, “You can be really unique, like me, and have a 707 plane.” He added, “But you could also have any corporate jet or airliner.” There’s a Gulfstream II jet parked in one of the two plane hangars. Even though the property already had a 7,500-foot runway, Travolta decided to extend the taxiway all the way to the house.

John Travolta’s house is in the JuмƄolair Aʋiation Estates in Ocala, Florida, and it’s on Greystone Airport. He was the first person to live in the 550-acre coммunity, which is perfect for people who like to fly in and out.

The flying community lets people who own planes land them, like Travolta’s big Boeing 707, and drive them to their houses.
