J.K. Rowling Says She’ll Never Forgive Emma Watson And Daniel Radcliffe
J.K. Rowling has suggested that she might never forgive Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe.
J.K. Rowling, who is 58 years old, wrote the famous ‘Harry Potter’ series, and these books have sold millions of copies all around the globe.
It has also become one of the most popular movie series ever made.
The franchise has faced a lot of criticism lately because of the author’s opinions on sex and gender.
Now, Rowling has taken a shot at two of the biggest movie stars, promising that she will never forgive them.
It all began in 2020 when Rowling shared a tweet about an article that talked about “people who menstruate.” She seemed to have a problem with the article not using the word “women.”
The writer would tweet: “‘People who menstruate’.
I know there was a word for those kinds of people before. Can anyone remind me? Was it Wumben? Wimpund? Or maybe Woomud?

Although she faced a ton of backlash, Rowling refused to backtrack on her words and went on to say: “If s** isn’t real, there’s no same-s** attraction. If s** isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased.
“I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of s** removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.”
In 2022, Rowling published a book called ‘The Ink Black Heart’ using her pen name, Robert Galbraith.
This story is a crime thriller featuring a YouTuber named Edie Ledwell. She creates a cartoon that faces backlash for being racist, ableist, and transphobic.
Rowling was slammed on X, formerly Twitter over the new book, with one person tweeting: “I just finished reading ‘The Ink Black Heart’. How can I describe it? – Utterly transphobic and ableist. – Poorly written. – Unnecessarily verbose. – Painfully long. – The worst of the series so far.”
Someone else mentioned, “If there’s anyone who shows how getting really rich can make you lose touch with the human qualities that helped you succeed, it’s J.K. Rowling.”
Picture this: you decide to write an entire book about feeling sorry for yourself because people on trans-Twitter were unkind to you after you were unkind to them first.
Many actors from the Harry Potter series have spoken out against Rowling’s opinions.

Chris Rankin, who plays Percy Weasley, shared with the Eastern Daily Press that he is very involved with charities that support the LGBTQ+ community and often helps raise funds for the Albert Kennedy Trust.
Many people in my family are part of the community. It’s a big part of my life, and I think that shows where my loyalties are.
He said, “It’s really important to understand that when a transgender person identifies as male or female, that’s who they are, and we should treat them that way.”
“It is damaging to them to say otherwise.”
Two of the biggest stars from the franchise have shared their thoughts that are pretty much the same.

In June 2020, Daniel Radcliffe shared a message via The Trevor Project, saying he felt the need to speak out about something important.
I understand that some news sources might try to make this look like a conflict between J.K. Rowling and me, but that’s not what this is really about, and it’s not what matters at the moment.
Jo has definitely played a huge role in shaping my life. I’ve been lucky enough to work with The Trevor Project for the past ten years, and as a person, I really feel like I need to share my thoughts right now.
Transgender women are definitely women. Saying otherwise ignores who they are and disrespects their identity. It also goes against what many health care experts say, who know a lot more about this topic than Jo or I do.
The actor from The Woman in Black expressed that he feels really sorry if the Harry Potter books have been somehow ruined or lessened for readers.

Meanwhile, Emma Watson tweeted: “Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are.”
In a different tweet, she said, “I want my trans followers to understand that I, along with many others worldwide, see you, respect you, and love you just the way you are.”
People believe that the actress from Little Women took a jab at Rowling during her speech at the 2022 BAFTAs.
During the event, Rebel Wilson, the host, introduced the next presenter by saying, “Please welcome Emma Watson to the stage! She likes to call herself a feminist, but we all know she’s actually a witch.”
In response, Watson said: “I’m here for all the witches.”
Now, Rowling has responded to the criticism of her opinions.

This week, Rowling shared a tweet about the Cass Review, This is a separate evaluation of the services related to gender identity for kids and teenagers.
Mermaids, a charity that helps trans, non-binary, and gender-questioning kids, expressed concern that “some of the wording in the report might be misunderstood and could lead to more obstacles for some trans youth trying to get care,” according to The Guardian.
Rowling described the report as “the strongest examination of medical evidence regarding children transitioning that has ever taken place.”
The writer argues that the results indicate that “children have been permanently affected.” They also mentioned, “It’s not just doctors who are involved; many celebrities, the media that doesn’t ask questions, and greedy companies are part of this too.”
A supporter of Rowling replied, “I’m just waiting for Dan and Emma to publicly apologize to you, knowing that you’ll forgive them.”

Still, Rowling says that she won’t ever forgive the two of them.
“Not safe, I’m afraid,” she wrote. “Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women’s hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single-sex spaces.”
Supporters quickly came to the aid of Radcliffe and Watson, with one person on X saying, “Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe don’t owe anyone an apology for being kind-hearted people.”
Somebody else weighs in, commenting: “Wait – what have Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe got to apologise to Rowling for? They were in the films of her books when they were kids, she doesn’t own them. That’s some really weird feudal s*** there…”
