George W. Bush is joyfully welcoming new additions to his family!

The 78-year-old former president of the United States joyfully shared the news of his new grandson’s arrival on social media.

The couple, parents to a 2-year-old daughter named Cora Georgia, recently welcomed their son, Edward Finn, just a few days ago.

The heartwarming image captures Barbara and Craig holding their newborn son in a hospital bed, their faces radiating happiness as they look adoringly at their baby boy. “Welcome to the world, Edward Finn Coyne. @laurawbush and I are thrilled to be the grandparents of our latest blessing, born on August 4 and named in tribute to his great-grandfathers,” Bush shared in his caption. “Congratulations to Barbara, Craig, and big sister Cora Georgia.”

Barbara’s twin sister, Jenna Bush Hager, announced the joyful news on Monday, August 5. As a co-anchor on the Today show, Jenna shared her enthusiasm on Instagram about the prospect of becoming an aunt once more.

Jenna, 42, shared a heartfelt caption alongside a collection of photos celebrating the arrival of her nephew, Edward Finn. “My sissy had a little mister, and I fell head over heels for Edward! ❤️💗👼” In one image, Jenna is feeding her newborn nephew, while another captures Barbara cradling Edward, with Jenna looking on in awe. A third photo showcases Edward peacefully sleeping in his mother’s embrace.

Jenna didn’t share more information about her nephew’s birth, but the photos capture the family’s happiness. Interestingly, Edward was spotted in a hat from NYU Langone Health, as noted by Today.com, suggesting that Barbara might have delivered at the well-known hospital in New York City.

George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, have expressed their joy about becoming grandparents before. When their daughter Barbara and her husband Craig welcomed their daughter Cora, the former president and first lady issued a joint statement to share the wonderful news.

@laurawbush and I are overjoyed to share the news of our new granddaughter’s arrival. Barbara welcomed Cora Georgia Coyne on September 27, 2021, in Maine, close to our family home where Barbara and Craig tied the knot. “Cora is both healthy and charming, and we feel proud and thankful,” they expressed in October 2021.

What a lovely addition to the Bush family!
