Gary Sinise gets emotional watching touching tribute from Tom Hanks and other celebs for his humanitarian work
The military’s dedication to protecting our country and ensuring our safety is recognized in many different ways. People show their appreciation through movies, books, parades, and even political campaigns. Almost everyone admires the soldiers for their hard work. One person making a big difference is actor Gary Sinise, who runs the Gary Sinise Foundation and does a fantastic job supporting veterans and their families.
Gary is recognized as a prominent supporter of the military. His foundation has undertaken numerous initiatives that demonstrate this commitment. One significant aspect of his support is the financial assistance provided to our defenders, which highlights the foundation’s dedication to its mission. Recently, Gary Sinise completed his latest project, a book titled Grateful American. The book was officially released on February 12, and Gary was genuinely delighted on that day.

Many close friends and actors gathered to express their gratitude towards Gary for his work. The video also included several veterans who have experienced Gary’s support firsthand. This unexpected gesture took Gary by surprise, especially upon hearing the heartfelt comments from his colleagues.
“Your commitment, your dedication, you are awesome,” Ron Howard said.
“You motivate other people,” Tim Allen added.
The video ends with Tom Hanks’ “Thanks, Lieutenant Dan!”

Sinise was deeply touched by these compassionate words. A veteran was overwhelmed with joy when he was gifted a specially designed ‘smart house’ for disabled individuals. He expressed immense gratitude for this generous donation, stating:
We’re standing in front of this amazing house, and it’s all thanks to your kindness, generosity, and your amazing gift of giving.
If it wasn’t for Robin Rand, the Foundation’s CEO, this video wouldn’t even be here. His cool idea to thank Gary with a video was a total surprise and really sweet.

Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Ron Howard are not the only famous people in the video. There are also Colin Powell, Robert De Niro, Robin Roberts, Steve Buscemi, Jay Leno, Judd Apatow, Maria Shriver, Mayim Bialik, Rob Lowe, Kristin Chenoweth, Joe Mantegna, Sela Ward, Aaron Eckhart, Richard Rawlings, Patricia Heaton, Jeff Perry, Iliza Shlesinger, Kellie Pickler, Donal Logue, and Drew Dix.

Regarding his work, Gary says:
We should always try our best to help those who give up so much every day to keep us safe and free. Even though we can never fully repay our heroes for their sacrifices, we can always find ways to show our appreciation.
We need to let everyone know how much the military does to keep us safe. Watch this super emotional video and help spread the word!
It doesn’t come as a surprise that Sinise was in tears of joy. This is something you don’t want to miss.
