Arnold Schwarzenegger Warns We’re Raising A ‘Generation Of Wimps’

You’re not going to make it there.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is well-acquainted with the concept of struggle.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, a native of Austria, has achieved great success as a seven-time Mr. Olympia champion, as well as a prominent figure in the world of bodybuilding, Hollywood, and politics.

While on “The Howard Stern Show,” he voiced worries about the risk of creating a “generation of wimps” in the US and promoted the idea of embracing life’s challenges.

He conveyed to the audience, “The more you face challenges, the further you will progress and the stronger you will become.”

Schwarzenegger strongly believes in the value of perseverance and confronting obstacles directly. “That’s just how the world operates.”

Anyone attempting to coddle, indulge, and shield themselves from discomfort is in for a rude awakening, he added.

“You have to be able to struggle.”

Affectionately known as “The Terminator,” Schwarzenegger raised a thought-provoking query regarding the individuals who genuinely contributed to the construction of the US.

“Is it people that slept in? Was it people that were wimping out?”

He answered his own question emphatically:

No way! These brave ladies and gentlemen woke up super early at 5 AM and really put in the effort. They worked hard and never gave up. That’s why our country is so awesome,” he declared.

Schwarzenegger warned that if we keep going in this direction, it could make things harder for future generations.

Schwarzenegger pointed out that using that drug takes away a key factor in being successful: “resistance.”

The brain can only truly develop when faced with challenges. You can only build your personality, become a tough individual on the inside, if you encounter obstacles,” he said.

He explained that his viewpoint isn’t about being unkind; it’s more about trying to strike a balance between helping people and not being too soft on them.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has kids named Katherine, Christina, Patrick, and Christopher with his ex-wife Maria Shriver, and a son named Joseph with his housekeeper Mildred Baena, also talked about the difficulties he faces as he gets older.

He jokingly talked about his morning routine with Stern, thinking about how his body has changed: “I can’t help but grin because every morning I look in the mirror and say, ‘Yep, you’re not great,’” he said.

I stare at this body… check out those chest muscles that were once strong and perky, super powerful with lines in them.

“Now they’re just hanging there. I mean, what the hell is going on here?”
